Salute to the Ancient of Ages
The mountains and hills rugged
and gracefully contoured,
with clusters of trees there and there
some wandering in wonders,
in march of the supreme command,
of He who stood the rocks in strategy,
and shrouded them all amidst of midst
in the morn, and sun as shield in the noon,
the armies of His breath set in battle array!
The frozen waters of clouds in his palms,
He clapped and broke the waters with thunders,
the drape of skies tore and waters fell on earth,
the lightning fastened the skies, rainbows shut the rains,
then the waters gathered at the feet of the rocks,
and now falls like dams giving life to null and void
this is an anthem to the Ancient of Ages
the uncreated Creator of all creatures
to Him be all glory for ages unending

Ka m putara na Nwa Agu zute Ezu n’uzo, o si m nwa Uzu isi ebee? Mu si ya Ezu ijeko ebee? O fenyaa isi, fenye isi n’ohia, mu kwe n’isi tinye isi na Ogbujiriekwe ka mu si owere were bianye Nimo Owelle!
